THE ADVOCACY TOOLKIT: a practical weekend workshop series for community activists

The RMIT Community Advocacy Unit designs and delivers educational and training programs on advocacy and social action for members of community groups and non-government organisations. These include workshops on strategic campaign planning, a range of advocacy and social action skill sets and the use of new technologies. The Unit also regularly hosts public seminars and conferences on a range of topical social and environmental justice issues.
