Mr Ariel Zohar is the former President of the RMIT University Student Union.

Ariel Zohar is an experienced advocate of the student voice, currently serving on the executive of the RMIT University Student Union (RUSU) and the immediate past RUSU President.
During his service over the past four years to the RMIT student community, Ariel has worked in close partnership with the university on matters of student concern, empowering Student-Staff Consultative Committees, encouraged policy changes as a member of Academic Board and has spoken at many symposiums about the student experience, including at the Office for Learning and Teaching Australia. In 2016, Ariel was selected as part of the RMIT delegation to the 'Students as Partners' project at the University of Queensland.
Ariel currently serves as the National Political Affairs Director for the Australasian Union of Jewish Students, and takes a close interest in advertising (his field of study), politics and entrepreneurship.
