AkE (pronounced "ache") is a multidisciplinary research, teaching and learning laboratory using motion simulators and 4D cinema seating to explore relationships between sound, movement and vision.
Our team of academics, composers, programmers and designers explores questions of perception and cognition in relation to audiokinetic experience. We collaborate on creative projects and research with choreographers, writers, directors and filmmakers, and academics from various disciplines.
