Adam is a sound artist specialising in design and music composition.
His research is centred around inter-sensory composition, investigating the perception of unison, harmony and metaphoric relationships in audio and kinetic gestures. He focuses on the resonance of form across different senses.
Adam's sound practice comprises contemporary works for screen, stage, gallery and recorded mediums. Regular themes in his work include immersive sound environments, gesture and musical metaphor.
His approach to sound and concept has developed through working with artists such as Darrin Verhagen, Yumi Umiamare, Robert Connolly, Craig Carter, Francois Tetaz and Patricia Piccinini.
He is a recent Harold Mitchell Foundation Fellow, a funded role exploring international art culture and the development of Australian sound art.
