This project examined the energy and environmental performance of 14 heritage residential buildings in Australia and New Zealand.
The project’s goal was to provide empirical research evidence by comparing the life cycle and operational energy performance of a range of heritage building designs with improved retrofitted designs. The research findings indicate opportunities and challenges in retrofitting heritage residential buildings for climate change.
