This project involves analysing the performance of two low energy houses in the UK, over a two-year monitoring period (2012-2014).
The Larch and Lime Houses are two UK based houses that have been built to showcase the best practice in low energy design. The Larch House is UK’s first zero carbon (code 6), low cost, certified Passivhaus, built as prototype social housing. The neighbouring Lime House has been built to top Passivhaus standards. Both houses are being carefully monitored with funding from the Technology Strategy Board (TSB).
