This innovative program trains graduates in mathematical or statistical techniques, modelling methodologies, and communication and business skills for employment in Australian industry.
The Australian Technology Network's Industry Doctoral Training Centre (Mathematics and Statistics) (IDTC) is the first Doctoral Training Centre in Australia.
Industry based research projects are central to the doctoral training centre, with doctoral candidates able to undertake a PhD level research project of critical importance to an industry partner, supported by academic supervisors with additional supervision from partner organisations.
Nodes of the IDTC (Mathematics and Statistics) are located in each Australian mainland state, at all of the ATN Universities.
Expressions of interest from industry for potential projects are invited. Please contact the IDTC (Mathematics and Statistics) Director or the RMIT University Program Coordinator.
