12 credit point course elective for undergraduate and postgraduate students from any discipline. Next offered in summer semester 2016, and semester 1 2016.
Accelerated entrepreneurial courses to get you enterprise-ready
RMIT’s Business Enterprise Unit offers Business Skills for Creative Industries in an accelerated mode to give current students the skills to launch their own business or creative enterprise. Becoming self- employed is a reality for many RMIT graduates, and these inspirational courses offer enterprise knowledge to design your own future.
- promotes entrepreneurial thinking
- develops business skills to enable you to become self-employed or launch an entrepreneurial venture
- focuses on researching and developing a business plan centred on your individual talents or passion
- presents you with skills and knowledge to undertake key business-related activities such as contract work, consulting, freelancing, working as an artist, securing project work and small business development.
The course is offered during the summer semester in accelerated mode, delivered over twelve days (6 hours per day) at the Melbourne City campus, in the award-winning Swanston Academic Building.

Nationally-accredited program that assists individuals to create a viable small business by offering training and support by experienced business practitioners. Topics covered include business planning, legal compliance, marketing, operations, finances, and record keeping.
