All teaching and learning is in English. The total student population on both campuses reached 4000 by mid-2008. Since 2003, RMIT Vietnam has won the prestigious Golden Dragon Award five times, for excellence in education services. Research initiatives have taken place in fields including information technology, food technology and safety, infectious disease control and water supply. RMIT Vietnam is the Asian hub in RMIT University’s strategic commitment to develop as a “twin hub” university, linking Melbourne, Australia, with the Asian region.
