The Associate Degree in Aviation is only offered as a full-fee paying program. You are required to pay a tuition fee that covers the full tuition costs of your program.

FEE-HELP is an optional loan scheme that assists eligible students to pay all or part of their tuition fees. Associate Degree in Aviation applicants who are Australian citizens or holders of a permanent humanitarian visa are eligible to apply for a FEE-HELP loan.
Tuition fees vary according to program and are adjusted annually.
In a Commonwealth supported place (CSP) your tuition fee is shared between you and the Commonwealth Government - if you meet the eligibility criteria.
In addition to the program fees, students for this program will also attract additional costs including: Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) theory exams (administered through Assessment Services Pty. Ltd), headsets, textbooks, RMIT Flight Training uniforms, medical tests etc. For most students, these costs can run up to approximately $5,300 over the course of the two-year program (excluding extra flying hours).

In some situations, students who require training above the maximum allotted flight hours for their course may be charged for any additional flight hours to achieve the required competencies. These hours are charged at a rate published as per the Material Fees for the Course.
The annual tuition fee for 2016 is AU$62,400.
The total indicative tuition fee for 2016 commencement is AU$125,760.

In addition to tuition fees you also need to pay for:
- Student services and amenities fee (SSAF) in each calendar year.
- Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) - Student visa holders must have cover for the total duration of their visa.
- Some programs incur additional expenses.
