RESEARCH CLUSTERS
There are six Research Clusters in the School of Art. They are underpinned by the learning and teaching programs in the School of Art. Functions of the Research Clusters are to identify research strengths and priorities and enhance visibility of research projects and researchers in the School. They identify a strong research culture of actual projects and outcomes comprising making artifact, exhibitions, research lectures and publications, refereeing, seminars, symposia, conferences, performances and web based practices. Actual projects involve research grants, collaborations and affiliations with external researchers and organisations.
The Research Clusters in the School of Art are intrinsically connected to the emerging research foci of university-wide research through RMIT Design Institute and Global Cities Institute.
