External organisations wishing to verify an RMIT student's award must:
Past students’ conferral (graduation) date and award name can be released as a matter of public record.
If you require information in addition to program name and conferral date (i.e. attendance dates) you must supply written authorisation hand signed by the candidate.
Note: A student may have met the academic requirements of a program, but not be conferred. Graduation at RMIT is not compulsory. In these instances enrolment details will not be disclosed without written authorisation signed by the candidate.
Processing of requests may take up to 6 working days. Requests submitted during peak times (December, January, July and August) and requests for students conferred prior to 2001 may take up to ten working days.
