Award verification request

External organisations wishing to verify an RMIT student's award must:

  1. Fill out the Award Verification Request form (PDF 23kb)
  2. Email or post the form to Exams, Awards and Graduations (details on form). If sending the award verification request via post please ensure an email address is included for return correspondence.

Past students’ conferral (graduation) date and award name can be released as a matter of public record.

If you require information in addition to program name and conferral date (i.e. attendance dates) you must supply written authorisation hand signed by the candidate.

Note: A student may have met the academic requirements of a program, but not be conferred. Graduation at RMIT is not compulsory. In these instances enrolment details will not be disclosed without written authorisation signed by the candidate.

Processing timeline

Processing of requests may take up to 6 working days. Requests submitted during peak times (December, January, July and August) and requests for students conferred prior to 2001 may take up to ten working days.
