A transcript of results is an official record of your studies at RMIT University. It documents your program/s, courses, results, any exemptions granted, and if you withdrew from a course after the census date. After you have been conferred (graduated) the transcript will also include the completion and conferral (graduation) date for your program/s.
All RMIT students receive one award transcript free of charge after conferral. Your award transcript is sector specific, which means if you graduated from a higher education program the award transcript will include all your higher education studies at RMIT, but not any TAFE studies that you may have undertaken.
If you attend the Melbourne Graduation Ceremony in December you will receive your award transcript in late February (Higher Education) or early March (TAFE) of the following year.
If you graduate in absentia you will receive your award transcript approximately six weeks after the award is conferred.
To obtain your award transcript you must first apply to graduate. Information about the graduation process and how to apply is available on the Graduation website.
To obtain a transcript before you graduate, or to purchase an additional award transcript contact the Hub or call the Student Administration Support Line on +61 3 9925 8980 during business hours. The fee for a transcript is $20. For more information about transcript costs refer to the Hub.
If you studied prior to 1982 or at any of RMIT’s merged colleges or institutes (PDF 272kb) you must complete an Archived Transcript Request form to apply for an archived transcript. The fee is $44.
For information about transcripts that are pre-1982, please visit archived transcripts or email awards@rmit.edu.au.
