Digitisation Service and eReserve

About us

The Digitisation Service team will help you make course related documents available in an electronic format. We will:

  • Source material to be digitised from our Library’s collection or other libraries within Australia
  • Digitise chapters from books, journal articles and artistic works, as well as RMIT-owned and created lecture notes and exam papers
  • Ensure copyright compliance and add the compulsory copyright notice to digitised documents.
  • Add these documents to the Library’s eReserve collection

eReserve collection and copyright

The eReserve collection provides access to digitised material via the Library catalogue. All third party copyright works (e.g. book chapters, articles or images) to be used online under Part VB Statutory Licence (CAL) Scheme for the Copying and Communication of Print and Graphical Works for educational purposes must be added to the eReserve collection. If you wish to place this material onto the Learning Hub or College server instead, you will need permission from the copyright holder.
