The conversation around global sustainability is coming to Melbourne in April 2012. Get involved and you could meet Professor David Suzuki.

Twenty years on from the landmark Earth Summit in Rio a major event is being held in Melbourne linked to Rio+20, and you have the opportunity to get involved.

Global superstars Professor David Suzuki, actor Sigourney Weaver and Sir Bob Geldof will be in Melbourne for the Corporations, People and the Planet conference from 26 to 28 April.

The big question the conference will address is ‘How can we work together across civil society, business and government to make a difference?’

Other speakers include Tim Costello, CEO of World Vision; Robyn Eckersley, leading environmentalist; Ian Lowe, President of the Australian Conservation Foundation; and Professor Paul James, Director, RMIT Global Cities Research Institute.

RMIT Global Cities Research Institute is collaborating with the UN Global Cities Programme for this conference.
