The previous RMIT student email system (Netmail) cut-over to Google on Monday 18 July 2011. Go to Google@RMIT for more information.
All email sent to students’ accounts from this date will appear in their Google account – no new email will appear in Netmail after this date.
Netmail will continue to be accessible for three months to allow students to migrate data to their Google account.
The following login information is relevant only to the Netmail system.
Further assistance is available by selecting the
icon in Netmail.
The ‘Username’ is your student number with changes incorporated.
To obtain your student EMAIL username:
Note: Some student numbers do not have an alphabetical character at the end.
Example:
If this is the first time you have used the eDirectory (NDS) service your password is the letter ‘p’ followed by your date of birth backwards. If you were born on the 8 April 1972 then your password is in the form pYYYYMMDD e.g. p19720408.
Note: Your password is your eDirectory (NDS) password.
Your student email address is your username with ‘@student.rmit.edu.au’ added e.g. username S1234567 address is S1234567@student.rmit.edu.au.

Enter your username and password then click the ‘Login’ button.
To access the system without SSL security please click the ‘Non-secure email login’ link.
Note: For your security, do not tick the ‘Save this password’ box.
