Google Apps for Education is a set of communication tools that makes communicating and collaborating easier and more efficient. The cornerstone of Google Apps is Gmail, Google’s web-based email program, which integrates with Google Calendar, for coordinating schedules and Google Docs, for creating and sharing documents.
Now your Google account is activated you can log in and start using any or all of the Google applications.
Username: enter your RMIT email address ie: s1234567@student.rmit.edu.au
Password: enter your password as your date of birth pYYYYMMDD (e.g. 28 April 1995 is p19950428). You will be prompted to change your password the first time you log in.
Do not check ‘Stay signed in’ when accessing from a public or shared computer
Important: Do not create your own RMIT Google account. This has already been created for you. If you have trouble logging in when using the above login information, contact the IT Helpdesk.
Google Apps at RMIT are very similar to the applications available to all Google account users. If you are new to these tools, we recommend starting slowly.
