Now that you have arrived, it’s time for you to settle in.

RMIT has a range of events to help new students settle in. Our Student Wellbeing Advisors run presentations, information sessions and other Orientation events for international students like you.

Getting Started

Not sure where to start? RMIT staff and students can talk to you about:

  • banking
  • tax file numbers
  • housing
  • enrolment
  • public transport
  • other information to help you settle into life in Melbourne and at RMIT.

Parents of new students are welcome to attend.

Wish life could be that easy? We’ll point you in the right direction with tips on managing your money, Centrelink, finding work and renting.
