Winter KnowHow refresher workshops

Undergraduate and postgraduate coursework students: solve those sticky study and assignment problems. Come along to one or all of the following workshops:

Tuesday 10 July

10 am–12 pm    Planning and organising your writing

1 pm–3 pm       Paragraphing, paraphrasing and integrating your sources

Wednesday 11 July

10 am–12 pm    Mastering intonation and stress, for students who have English as an additional language

1 pm–3 pm       Mapping your ideas: mind, concept and argument mapping

Thursday 12 July

10 am–12 pm    Planning and structuring oral presentations

1 pm–3 pm       Effective reading and note-taking

10 am –3 pm     Masters Coursework Reading and Writing Master Class #1 – putting the techniques into practice

Saturday 15 September

10 am –3 pm     Coursework Reading and Writing Master Class #2 – putting the techniques into practice (optional or additional to Master Class #1 - different topic for practice).
