Exams
In many courses your academic performance is assessed through examinations (exams). Most higher education exams and some TAFE exams are held in a central venue for each campus.
Check exam timetables carefully before each exam period for details of your exam times and venues.

Exam tips
- Bring your RMIT student card to all exams for identification.
- Switch your mobile phone off and place it under your desk (not in your pocket).
- Wear suitable, comfortable clothing. In June it can be cold and in October/November it can be hot.
- Hot drinks are not permitted in exam venues.
- Only non-carbonated water is permitted in the venue and is to be brought in a clear plastic bottle only.
- Bring a bag you can close securely that will fit under your desk or chair.
- Make sure you bring all materials needed for your exam, i.e. calculator, as these are not provided or available for loan.
