16 August 2011
Qualitative Interest Group - A Collaborative Coding Party
This meeting will be a data-handling session, using data from group members to try out techniques for qualitative coding.
Following the discussion on Grounded Theory in our August meeting, it was decided to devote a session to “open coding”, working with data circulated by one or two group members, to explore methods of opening out the text by coding and comparative techniques.
