The RMIT Graduation Parade will be held on Wednesday, 17 December 2008 at 9.30 am.

More Information

The annual RMIT Graduation Parade held on the morning of the Graduation Ceremony will launch the University's annual graduation celebrations.

Every year the Graduation Parade includes more than 600 RMIT University graduands, staff and alumni dressed in their academic robes.

On the day of the parade all participants assemble on the RMIT City Campus in Bowen Street at 9.30 am for a 10.00 am start. The parade leaves the City Campus and proceeds along Swanston Street to Federation Square for an Official Welcome at 10.45 am by the City of Melbourne, followed by morning tea. Participating students can invite family and friends to attend the morning tea, however a maximum of five guests are allowed per participant.

RMIT parade marshals will be directing the Graduation Parade participants and will be available to answer any questions on the day. In the case of wet weather the University will notify participants by email as to the wet weather contingency plan.
