TranscriptsA transcript of results is an official record of your studies at RMIT University. It documents your program/s, courses, results and the completion and conferral date for your program/s. It will also list any exemptions granted, if you discontinued from a program, and if you withdrew from a course after the census date. All RMIT students receive one free of charge award transcript after their award has been conferred. Students attending the Melbourne Graduation Ceremony in December each year will usually receive their transcript in late February (Higher Education) or early March (TAFE) of the following year. Students graduating in absentia will usually receive their award transcript six weeks after the award is conferred. Obtaining a transcriptTo obtain your award transcript you must first apply for your award to be conferred, i.e. apply to graduate. Information about the graduation process and how to apply is available on the Graduation web site. If you would like to obtain a transcript before you are conferred, or need an additional award transcript you can purchase one from the Hub or order one by phoning the Student Administration Support Line on (03) 9925 8980, Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5.00 pm. The fee for a transcript is $18. For more information about transcript costs refer to the Hub. Students who studied in programs prior to 1982 or at any of RMIT’s merged colleges or institutes must complete an Archive Transcript Request form and submit it to Exams, Awards and Graduations to obtain a copy of an archived transcript. The fee for an archived transcript is $44.
