Log in to the Enrolment Online site to check your enrolment details. You can print-out a Confirmation of Enrolment statement by clicking on the link in the left-hand menu.
Once your enrolment is complete, print-out a Confirmation of Enrolment statement by logging in to Enrolment Online.
Take your Confirmation of Enrolment statement, along with some form of photo identification, to your nearest Hub and request your student card.

Q. What are my fees and how do I pay them?
All students can download a copy of their RMIT Tax Invoice by logging in to Enrolment Online and clicking on the invoice link. There are a number of options available to students to make payment of their fees easier and convenient. Please visit the fee payment webpage for more information for further information
TAFE students with a Health Care Card or Pension Card may be eligible for a considerable concession on their fees. Please ask your nearest Hub to see if you are eligible.
To access RMIT University's IT services you need to login to the network with a Novell Directory Services (NDS) username and password.
Your password will be your student number with a letter 'S' in front of it.
If your student number is in the format 3001234, your username is: S3001234.
If your student number is in the format 1234567B, your username is: S1234567
Your initial NDS password is your date of birth in the format: YYYYMMDD. For example, if you were born on 13 September 1975, your password is 19750913.
Q. How do I change my password and what do I do if I forget my password?
When you first log in you will be prompted to change your password. You should also set a challenge question in case you forget your password. Please visit the ITS Manage your password webpage for more information.
If you have completely forgotten your password it can be reset at any HUB, by calling the ITS Helpdesk on 9925 8888 or by calling the Student Administration Support Line (SASL) on 9925 8980.
Q. What is my student email address and how do I access it?
Your student email address is: username@student.rmit.edu.au, e.g. S1234567@student.rmit.edu.au
One of the main ways that RMIT communicates with students is via email. It is vital that you regularly check your student email account and manage the size of your mailbox.
Q. How can I access computers and printing facilities on campus?
Please visit the Computing services for students webpage to find locations of all RMIT University student computing facilities, including the cost and locations of printers for student use.
Q. How do I access lecture notes and course materials?
To access online course materials please visit the Online Learning Hub and login with your NDS username and password.

Q. How do I borrow from the library?
You will need an RMIT University student card to use any of the library borrowing facilities. For locations and information about the extensive services offered, please visit the RMIT University Library website
All new students are strongly encouraged to participate in a library tour. These can be booked through the library website or by asking in person at your nearest RMIT Library.
Q. Where can I buy textbooks?
Don't feel compelled to buy any textbooks before you have attended your first class. Teaching staff will usually make recommendations about which books to purchase in the first lecture or tutorial you attend. The recommended texts should also be listed in the official course guide.

Q. Where can I get a student travel concession card?
Once you have received a Confirmation of Enrolment, obtain an application form from the HUB.
Complete the form, attach two passport-sized photos and take it to the nearest HUB for approval.
Take the approved application form to your nearest train station or MET shop to have your card made. Unfortunately, not all RMIT students are eligible for a transport concession card. Please read the application carefully to determine if you are able to get one.
