• Improve your study, writing and maths skills through handouts and tutorials on the Study and Learning Centre's Online Learning Lab
• See a learning adviser at the Study and Learning Centre’s Drop-in Centre or make an individual appointment by calling 03 9925 3600
• Attend Workshops run by the Study and Learning Centre
• email a Learning Query to a learning adviser (login required).

"I have trouble prioritising my study, work, rest, play and other commitments…"

• Attend a Time Management Workshop.
• Check out the Time Management Handout or listen to the Time Management Podcast.
• Download the Balancing Study, Life and Play Podcast

"I have trouble concentrating when studying…"

• Meditation groups (Opening Silence) run at the Spiritual Centre (Building 11C) every Tuesday and Thursday at 12.30pm.
• Visit the Study and Learning Centre's Online Learning Lab.
• Check out the Mindfulness Handout and the Mindfulness and being present website to listen to a range of podcasts on Mindfulness.
• Read the Sleep Well Handout.
• Sometimes concentration can be affected by anxiety or depression, seek out the Counselling Service for one-on-one assistance (tel. 9925 4365).

"I feel my English language skills need improving…"

• If you want to practice and get feedback on your English language skills, visit the Study and Learning Centre’s Drop-in Centre, where you can meet with English language teachers
• RMIT English Worldwide runs fee-paying workshops in pronunciation, listening comprehension / note taking, essay and report writing, reading skills and Australian slang.

"I need to read and reread my study material and I have difficulty spelling words correctly..."

• Contact the Disability Liaison Unit and make enquiries about having a learning assessment done.

"I learn better if I go to lectures and hear the lecture than read it online. In fact I would like to hear all of my study material..."

• Contact the Disability Liaison Unit and ask about voice and text recognition software.
