GE visits RMIT

Representatives from GE visited the Graduate School of Business and Law (GSBL) at RMIT University to promote their graduate program to MBA students.

Hayley O'Callaghan and Alexis Denby outlined GE's Experienced Commercial Leadership Program (ECLP), which aims to develop graduates with previous marketing and sales experience into commercial leaders.

“Having industry representatives visit the School is a great opportunity for students to meet potential employers and form a clear idea of the different graduate programs on offer,” Burim Boonwirat, Academic Services Manager, GSBL, said.

The ECLP at GE gives graduates the opportunity to differentiate and accelerate their career by gaining leadership perspective through challenging, high-impact assignments.

Participants of the program work closely with senior executives on their top-priority business initiatives. They also learn sales strategy, marketing and leadership skills from professional trainers.

The 24-month intensive leadership program includes three high impact eight-month assignments in one of the GE businesses: GE Technology Infrastructure, GE Energy infrastructure, GE Capital, NBC Universal, or GE Consumer & Industrial.
