It's not just flowers that feature in these spectacular garments. Onions, chillies, dates and coral were among the surprising materials used by third-year RMIT University fashion students in a stunning and unusual fashion collection.
The garments were recently on display at the Royal Exhibition Building, as part of the 14th Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show.
Working to the theme of "a monument to water: sine qua non", the 12 students had four weeks and a $200 budget to design and construct their inspired works.
This is the ninth year that RMIT fashion students have taken part in the Student Floral Fashion Design showcase at the flower and garden show.
