Business and Community Partnership

"Business community image"RMIT Business has built effective links and partnerships with business and the professions, particularly in the Melbourne Central Business District. There are 17 Program Advisory Committees, School Advisory Boards and the Strategies Advisory Board which in total involve over 200 industry and professional advisers.

Staff are actively involved in industry and professional bodies and undertake a broad range of research and consulting activities. Students benefit from RMIT Business links with industry through the Co-operative Education Program the Professional Skills Program and in their daily interaction with teaching staff and guest speakers.

One of the progressive developments by RMIT Business over the last 10 years has been the establishment of a large network of offshore business education partners. At the moment, more than 4,000 international students are studying postgraduate RMIT programs in their own countries.

Programs taught across RMIT Business are tailored to satisfy specialised industry and professional needs. At RMIT Business, our goal continues to be a practical and applied business education for undergraduate business students to experience while completing their qualifications. These programs are essential to producing business graduates attuned the real needs of business.
