Open Universities Australia Postgraduate coursework programs Entry to postgraduate coursework programs requires the successful completion of a bachelor degree and/or relevant work experience. Allow one year of full-time study to complete a Graduate Diploma and one and a half years for a Masters degree. Double Masters qualifications are also available across a range of disciplines and normally take two years full-time. Postgraduate research programs The RMIT Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Master by Research programs provide an opportunity for suitable students to develop their research skills whilst collaborating with academic staff and professionals within industry, commerce and the community on research matters of mutual interest.
