The Business Development Unit in the Graduate School of Business and Law engages with industry and government organisations to provide a wide range of training, professional development and consultancy services.

We provide work-related education and training and undertake practical research, relevant to business and community aspirations.

Activities include:

• Customised in-house Master of Business Administration (Executive) programs – designed to integrate ‘on the job’ experience with a professional qualification in leadership and management.
• Customised programs – design, development and delivery of courses to enhance skills and general management practice
• Consulting services – drawing on the expertise of the Graduate School of Business to provide business strategy and management solutions tailored to your organisation’s needs.
• Business builders – a range of topical and accessible professional development workshops for managers in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors.
• International – working with offshore clients on customised programs and courses, using our network of affiliates in China, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.

Examples of our partners and clients include: the Australian Rail Track Corporation, Australia Post, LGPro, Emergency Management Australia, Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, the State Grid Corporation of China, Tianjin Municipal Government and the Australian Multicultural Arts Foundation, Grenoble Ecole de Management.
