Articulation and pathways
The portfolio Admissions Manager provides schools with support for selection and admission of students, including:
- providing advice and training to staff on policy and processes
- working to ensure practices enable the timely and equitable selection of applicants
- acting as a key point of liaison and information flow between staff and the RMIT Admissions Office, including providing strategic feedback on Selection Officer experiences and conversely keeping Selection Officers informed about changes to RMIT Direct and VTAC admissions processes and practices
- regularly monitoring and reporting on selection outcomes and enrolment status reports and making recommendations during the selection period to ensure student targets are achieved
- developing effective local selection and admissions processes
- overseeing the portfolio’s involvement in RMIT’s equity schemes including SNAP, SEAS, ACESS and Refugee/Temporary Protection Visa applicants
