Facebook Check In Competition

'Check in' to any of the 2011 Art and Design Exhibitions via Facebook for your chance to win a ride in the RMIT Hot Air Balloon.

Terms and conditions

  1. The competition is open to everyone except RMIT staff members.
  2. You can enter via your mobile Facebook application.
  3. To enter, you must ‘Check in’ to a particular exhibition during the exhibition season (Oct – Dec, 2011).
  4. The competition opens on 15 October, 2011 and closes at 5pm on Thursday 15 December, 2011.
  5. The more exhibitions you ‘Check in’ to on Facebook, the greater your chance of winning.
  6. You consent to any act or omission by RMIT which would otherwise infringe your moral rights of integrity and attribution of authorship in respect of your contributions.
  7. Your contributions will be accessed and read by other persons. You are solely responsible for your contributions and the consequences of making them. You also acknowledge that RMIT is not responsible for your contributions or the contributions of other persons, and does not endorse them.
  8. Your contributions may be removed by RMIT at any time in its absolute discretion.
  9. You warrant that your contributions do not breach copyright or other intellectual property rights of other persons.
  10. Your ‘Check in’ must be to an official RMIT Art and Design Exhibition that is hosted on the RMIT Facebook page to be eligible for the competition. All other exhibitions hosted on separate Facebook pages are ineligible.
  11. A winner will be chosen at random from those who ‘Checked in’ to an official RMIT Art and Design Exhibition during the exhibition season.
  12. The winner will be announced on Friday 16 December on the RMIT Facebook page and the winner will be notified via Facebook.
  13. The prize consists of a double pass to ride on the RMIT Hot Air Balloon. The prize cannot be redeemed for cash and must be used by the 30 June 2012 at a time mutually convenient for the hot air balloon operator and the winner.
  14. If the winner is under the age of 16 years, he or she must be accompanied by one of the winner’s parents on the hot air balloon ride and the winner’s parent will be considered to be the other recipient of the double pass.
  15. RMIT University accepts no liability for any loss of damage incurred during the hot air balloon ride.
