Folio preparation advice

Places are highly sought after, stand out from the crowd by demonstrating your interest in and passion for design.

Start now and advantage your application by:

  1. Compiling a folio to show a range of your work if there is an interview. Be able to discuss your thought process and how you arrived at your ideas.
  2. Think about and expand on your opinions and ideas about art and design. Visit newsagents, art and design bookshops or libraries to check out design magazines and journals. Become familiar with some of the key terms, concepts, influential individuals and movements, locally, internationally, current and historical.
  3. Gather information from relevant professional bodies in the design industry, maybe organise some work experience with a professional in your chosen area.
