Textile Design
Textiles are an important part of our daily lives. From our homes, cars, public transport to the fashion we wear. Colour, pattern or motif, textured surface, three-dimensional function, form and sustainability are integral to creating textile design.
The School of Fashion and Textiles offers TAFE, undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Students will learn to create textiles for interior, automotive and fashion design. Programs include a mix of both industry-related and creative projects, with the option of studying abroad in year two.
Students undertake work-integrated learning (WIL) with an associated Textile, Clothing and Footwear (TCF) company or creative mentor during the final year of the program.
