Research projects
CASR staff have expertise in both quantitative and qualitative methodologies. CASR researchers bring together the disciplinary strengths of sociology, economics, politics, law and legal studies, globalisation, gender studies, and history as well as skills in program design and evaluation.
CASR researchers conduct projects funded by competitive grant bodies such as the Australian Research Council. In addition, they conduct shorter term contract research and consultancies for government departments and community agencies. Recent partnerships have included research funded by state government departments, community sector welfare agencies, the union movement and local government
