Bachelor of Communication

This degree offers streams in Advertising; Journalism; Media Studies; Professional Communication and Public Relations. Bachelor of Communication (Honours)

A single year program which is undertaken on completion of the Bachelor of Communication and within one of the following streams: Advertising-Creative; Journalism; Media Studies; Professional Communication; Public Relations. The Honours program allows high performing students to add depth and research experience to the skills and knowledge gained in their undergraduate degree. [more]

Master of Communication

This program provides a unique combination of theoretical communication studies, professional training and research. Courses (subjects) are offered in the areas of communication theory and practice, cinema, journalism, public relations, book publishing, cultural studies and new media. [more]

Master of Arts and Ph.D by research - Applied Communication

The School of Applied Communication offers research degrees in Master of Arts and PhD. Research is undertaken in public relations, journalism, cinema studies, general media and communication studies, graphic design and advertising. While most communications and media research is conducted through thesis writing, there are opportunities within the School to do production and project-based research, especially in graphic design and journalism.
