The Bachelor of Communication (Media) provides a distinctive approach to educating the next generation of leading media professionals. Successful graduates need to be creative, multi-skilled communicators, able to develop and deliver media content for new ways of reading, writing and publishing. If you are interested in a career in the media the degree offers unique opportunities and the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in this environment. The degree emphasises project and collaborative work, integrating hands-on production with high level academic study, creative practice with critical reflection, and individual experimentation in a context of solid professional and industry knowledge.

"Ewan Burnett"Ewan Burnett, one of Victoria’s leading film and television producers, is adjunct professor in media in the School of Applied Communication at RMIT University. Mr Burnett has 25 years experience in the Australian film and television industry, having produced a range of programs including Bootleg, The Farm, Kangaroo Palace, Short Cuts and TheWayne Manifesto.
