Student Exchange

Students are encouraged to apply for one of a number of exchange scholarships internationally and are given the opportunity to study abroad for one semester. They undertake similar courses to the ones they would be required to complete for their RMIT University qualification. We currently have exchanges with:

• FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology) in New York City; and
• Buffalo State University in New York State.

Both establishments run similar Product Development & Merchandising Programs. Students that have participated have benefited by gaining a more global perspective of the Textiles, Clothing, Footwear and Leather industries.

The successful applicants for 2007 included:

3. Annie Hodder: Buffalo State University
