Work Integrated Learning with Guess Australia

Denim specialist GUESS Australia and RMIT’s School of Fashion & Textiles came together to bridge the gap between Industry and Education with a “Designs on Denim Project.”

Managing Director Simon Nankervis talked to students on the essence of the brand GUESS and provided students with denim. The Students spent weeks designing and producing the denim based garments.

Students designs were showcased at Melbourne’s Euroluce Gallery on September 5th with the winner Athena Voudiotis heading to the US to work with the Guess team for a week.

The top five outfits were showcased at the GUESS Outlet in the Melbourne QV shopping Centre during Motorola Melbourne Spring Fashion Week
