‘The Body: Connections with Fashion’

For the first time ever, the International Foundation of Fashion Technology Institute (IFFTI) is holding its conference in Australia. And, naturally, they have chosen a world leader in fashion and textiles research as the host: RMIT University.

Held on 8 and 9 March, 2008, the 10^th annual conference for IFFTI08 will focus on the connection between the human body and fashion, from the utilitarian function of clothing to the discipline of semiotics. An international audience will hear leading-edge researchers address key issues in business, manufacturing, materials technology, design innovation and education.
