Collegiate Session – Sustainability

The School of Fashion & Textiles is holding another Collegiate session with key speaker Professor Ian Thomas, Research Associate from Computer Science & Information Technology. Ian will be presenting on the research into Sustainability issues by Global Studies, Social Science and Planning (GSSSP).

Date: Tuesday, 7th October 2008
Venue: Auditorium of Building 514
Time: 5.30pm - 7.00pm

Studio Textiles – Textile Workshops

Studio Textiles is holding a series of textile workshops in the first week of the September holidays. The workshops are run by students and help raise funds for their graduate show "Unfold". Many staff have enjoyed these workshops in the past so we are doing them again.

If staff from other areas would like to inform their students, we would greatly appreciate you notifying them about this wonderful opportunity.

Textiles Holiday Workshop

‘Celebrating Tapestry’

On Tuesday 22 July RMIT Brunswick will be celebrating tapestry. The Vice Chancellor and President of RMIT University will be cutting the new suite of RMIT tapestries from the loom. Following this, a viewing of The City of Greater Dandenong ‘Harmony Tapestry’ will take place.

New Program for 2008

MC164 Master of Fashion and Textiles

The School of Fashion and Textiles has introduced a new program in 2008 called Master of Fashion and Textiles.This program is a coursework postgraduate program aimed at Industry Practitioners and those with relevant academic qualifications.
