Trudie Orchard

Trudie joined RMIT Textile Testing Services as Manager in 2003.

Her extensive experience began with the New Zealand Wool Board’s Woolmark testing laboratory and Wool Research Organisation of New Zealand (WRONZ). Trudie then moved into quality control at Feltex woven carpets, Christchurch before immigrating to Australia to join the Australian Wool Testing Authority Ltd (AWTA) in the Textile Testing division. Here Trudie developed strong testing knowledge in meeting product specifications for apparel, upholstery and hospital textiles during a period of over 15 years.

Trudie graduated in 2007 from RMIT with a Graduate Diploma in Manufacturing Operations (Textiles) and is a NATA signatory for the laboratory.

Trudie holds a Licentiate Membership of the Textile Institute and is a member for a number of Standards Australia textile committees. She has also been accepted as a technical assessor for the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) for companies seeking registration to AS/NZS 17025 accreditation.

Fiona Greygoose

Fiona has over 21 years experience in the field of textile testing and is a key contact point for your testing requirements. As Laboratory Supervisor, Fiona provides administrative and technical direction within the laboratory. With a strong customer service focus, Fiona oversees a team of technical officers to provide quality service with minimum delay. Fiona is a NATA signatory for the laboratory.

She holds a Diploma in Textile Manufacturing Technology (MIText) and an Advanced Certificate in Textile Technology (MIText.).

Kristine Landolac

Kristine Landolac joined the laboratory in 2006 and brings over 10 years experience in testing automotive, apparel and technical textiles. As a senior technical officer, Kristine co-ordinates the internal laboratory functions providing training and guidance to ensure procedures are adhered to and improvements implemented where practicable. She also assists in administrative matters and laboratory tours.

AparnaChaubal

As Technical Officer, Aparna has over 12 years experience in product development and testing in knitting, dyeing and finishing in the textile industry and within a commercial testing environment. She holds a Diploma in Textile Manufacturing Technology (MIText.) and an Advanced Certificate in Dye Chemistry (MIText). Aparna is responsible for a wide range of tests, in particular chemical analysis and colourfastness testing

Kerry Potter

As Technical Officer, Kerry brings experience in carpet and fabric testing. Kerry is also responsible for conducting physical, colourfastness and flammability tests.
