Program Details
RIIERP in its entirety is the only program of its kind run by a University in Australia. It is the view of RMIT University that the program is an essential component in the development of the key attributes of globally employable graduates. This view is shared by the participating students, as well as both local and international companies.
From 2003 participants in the RIIERP will enrol into one of three electives subjects, depending on the length of stay with the overseas company (subject to approval by Academic Board).
The credit points for this work placement program are:
3 months placement – 12 credit points
6 months placement – 24 credit points
12 months placement – 36 credit points
