Student Mobility

RMIT University offers learning and research that equips students to be part of a global economy. In preparation, the University encourages students to experience study or work overseas.

All current RMIT students may apply to Education Abroad to do an overseas exchange to a partner institution, a short-term study tour or an industry placement.

The RMIT International Industry Experience and Research Program (RIIERP) places students in six to 12-month internships with major corporations.

The program, the only one of its kind in Australia, has provided more than 1,000 overseas placements since 1992.
