Projects within the International Centre for Environmental and Bioethics focus on the moral responsibility of people to look after the environment. This includes developing codes of ethics, challenging unsustainable environmental practices, and considering ethical issues surrounding the environment and biological sciences.

Warming of the Biosphere…is an ethical issue. The inaugural lecture presented at the Global Cities Institute, RMIT University, Melbourne.

Development of Ethical Norms: a natural imperative obfuscated by Culture, Politics and Economics. The keynote opening paper at the first Baltic Congress on Sustainable Development in Wismar in Northern Germany. This conference was for non-government organisations and universities. Low environmental-impact energy generation. This project by Dr Barry Tapp began in June 2005.

ISZS Biological consequences of Global Change. Climate change is a global phenomenon and requires a global response. The International Society of Zoological Sciences is launching one such response: a scientific research programme into the Biological Consequences of Global Change.
