Information and Signal Processing

Information and Signal Processing at RMIT is an area of research strength of international standing and one of the School’s research foci in electrical and computer engineering. Academic and research staff in this group conduct research in a number of focused research areas with projects and activities supported and funded by national competitive grants, such as ARC Discovery and Linkage Grants, CRC grants, and by our industrial partners. Academic and research staff supervise research students in both Masters by Research and PhD programmes. Research activities are currently supported by research facilities in three research laboratories, including DSP and Embedded Systems, Information Systems and Visual Communications Engineering.
