First Year School-Leaver University Students wanted
RMIT University is conducting a research study titled ‘Adjustment to the transition to university: An investigation of the relationship between social support and adjustment’. The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between social support seeking behaviour and adjustment to the transition to university.
This research is open to all first-year school-leaver RMIT University students from the School of Health Sciences. It is expected that participation will contribute to a greater understanding of social support behaviours associated with adjustment to the transition to university. The findings may provide useful information for future research into the university environment and how to assist first-year students to adjust to the transition to university.
If you agree to be involved in the study, the questionnaire should take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete, and participation is completely voluntary and anonymous. Hard copies with reply-paid postage are also available on request by contacting the investigators. Please see the Plain Language Statement (PDF 40KB 3p) attached, for further information.
If you have any questions about the study, please contact Ilkay Kolege or Mandy Kienhuis.
