A World Bank sponsored Indonesian delegation has visited the School of Mathematical and Geospatial Sciences at RMIT

Professor John Hearne welcoming the Indonesian delegation
Recently the RMIT School of Mathematical and Geospatial Sciences hosted a visit by a delegation from Indonesia. This visit was for senior staff of the National Land Agency and from Gadjah Mada University and Bandung Institute of Technology. Their visit was part of a training and capacity development course sponsored by the World Bank and to support their efforts on the World Bank sponsored Land Management and Policy Development Project in Indonesia.
The School of Mathematical and Geospatial Sciences hosted the visit and provided training in cadastral surveying, property valuation, and land management and facilitated their understanding of the differences between the Australian and Indonesian systems. The visit was an opportunity to further strengthen ties between RMIT and these organisations and we will continue to seek ways to support each other in the future.
