Student Staff Consultative Committee (SSCC)

A considerable amount of student feedback is gathered through the Student Staff Consultative Committee (SSCC). SSCCs aim to facilitate better communication between students and staff on issues that concern, and are related to, students and their experiences at RMIT.

Minutes from SSCC meetings are, where possible, incorporated into the School's student improvement and implementation plans and creates a solid link between student concerns and improvement processes.

If you have feedback to provide on your program, courses, staff, facilities or the University in general you are most welcome to attend in person. However you are not required to attend for the entire meeting.

If you cannot attend, or do not feel comfortable in raising your concern directly, please contact your student representatives listed on the CSIT intranet:

Alternatively, feedback is also accepted via email to csit@rmit.edu.au. Please be specific in your feedback stating which program you have enrolled into, local or international status, lecture, tute or lab details – provide names if relevant. Positive feedback is also valuable so the School knows what is working well for you. We can only act if we have the necessary information.

Don’t forget you can talk to lecturers, tutors or other students directly or through a forum or newsgroup to try and resolve problems also.
