Environmental and Industrial Microbiology

PhD student Salem Abureema is characterising Streptococcus uberis strains from bovine milk.

Our laboratory focuses on research in three areas within the field of environmental and industrial Microbiology;

These research areas are lead by Professor Margaret Deighton.

Dr Duncan Rouch is the principle research officer of projects for the microbial safety of biosolids.
